Baytown Central District WWTP Offsite Liftstation and Forcemains

New 40 MGD influent wastewater lift station near the existing Central District WWTP in Baytown, Texas. Included construction of the 50′ x 34′ recangular lift station by Caisson method with five (5) new Vertical Turbine Solids Handling pumps, VFDs, and controls. New split faced block electrical building onsite to house required MCC gear and controls. New Odor Control system for foul air removal from the lift station, 1040 KW generator with ATS for emergency backup systems. Modify and improve the lift station discharge point at the existing Headworks to allow for the tie in of the new incoming forcemains. 48″ influent sewer from connection points in Main St, and 24” and 36″ forcemains from the new influent lift station to the existing WWTP across the street. Bypass pumping as necessary to allow continual use of the existing facility while tying in the new piping runs before re-directing the flows into the newly installed lift station. Various paving into the new facility and landscaping is required. Process and instrumentation required to coordinate the effort between the new pumping system with the existing plant. After completion and proof that the new lift station design has been accomplished, demolishing and abandonment of the existing on-site plant lift station.
