City of Baytown West District Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion

A new 8 MGD Average and 40 MGD peak wastewater treatment plant adjacent to the existing wastewater treatment plant. The new plant consists of a 45ft diameter onsite pump station, headworks structure consisting of bar screens and aerated grit chamber, effluent pump station, and discharge line to serve both the existing and proposed facilities. New facilities include a conventional activated sludge process, final clarification, chlorination/dechlorination and effluent measurements. Waste activated sludge will be thickened, aerobically digested and dewatered utilizing belt presses. Site work with all supporting electrical gear are included.
